A 60-minute working session to understand what you’re building and what it needs to do. We cover product, customer, claims, and any constraints—cost, timeline, or regulatory. From there, I put together a clear scope of work and a fixed quote. If you move forward, we begin. If not, you leave with a sharper, more structured brief than you started with.
The formula gets designed on paper before it hits the bench. Benchmarks, ingredient strategy, claim mapping, sensory and texture direction, regulatory path. You see the architecture before I weigh a single ingredient — if a pivot is needed, it's cheap here.
This is where the formulation work happens. Each SKU goes through up to three iterations, with every version documented and shared as we go. You’ll see what’s being tested, what’s working, and how the formula is evolving. Stability testing runs alongside development to keep things moving efficiently. If we need to shift direction at any point, it’s discussed and agreed on before moving forward—so time stays focused and intentional.
Once the formula is finalized, everything is prepared for you to take it forward. You’ll receive production-ready documentation, batching instructions, and specification sheets. All materials are organised, clear, and built for real-world use. Full IP is transferred to you in writing. There’s also a follow-up call after delivery to support implementation and answer any final questions.
